Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Appa Digital LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as FormJet, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit formjet.app or formjet.com (the "Service"). It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website places on your browser. They let the site remember information about your visit — your login session, your preferences, and (for us) whether you're a returning visitor. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Categories we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the Service to function. You can't disable them without breaking the site.

  • Authentication— Supabase session cookies keep you signed in between page loads. Without them you'd have to re-authenticate on every request.
  • CSRF protection — Short-lived tokens used by form submissions and account actions to prevent cross-site request forgery.
  • Load balancing — Vercel edge routing cookies that keep you on a consistent server during a single request.

2.2 Functional (always on for signed-in users)

  • Theme preference — remembers your dark / light mode choice across visits.
  • Editor statelocalStoragefor form-editor autosave drafts so you don't lose work on a page refresh.

2.3 First-party product analytics (always on)

We use one sessionStorage key to generate a random per-session identifier. That identifier is included in usage-event batches sent to our first-party analytics engine so we can distinguish one visit from another without setting a persistent tracking cookie. See Privacy Policy §3.4 for what events are collected. The identifier is not linkable to a name, email, or IP, and it disappears when you close your browser tab.

2.4 What we don't use

  • No advertising cookies. We do not run display advertising and we do not integrate any ad networks (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
  • No third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no Segment, no PostHog, no Hotjar, no session replay. Our analytics stack is first-party and self-hosted.
  • No cross-site tracking. Cookies set by formjet.app are readable only by formjet.app.

3. Managing cookies

Because we only set strictly-necessary, functional, and first-party analytics cookies, we do not display a cookie banner. Most browsers let you clear all cookies for a site from the address bar padlock menu. Clearing FormJet's cookies will sign you out and reset your theme preference.

Browser-level Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected — when either is present, we do not fire any analytics events for that request.

4. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page whenever we change the cookies we use. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
